Social Media Assistant

About the role

Kestrel and Kin is seeking a temporary Social Media Assistant for a three-month period to support daily community engagement and content scheduling. This sample role is based on site in Perth.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule social media posts using approved content calendars
• Monitor comments and direct messages and escalate issues
• Capture simple photo and video content at events and in store
• Assist with basic performance tracking and weekly summaries
• Maintain a tidy asset library and content tracker

Requirements

• Some experience or study in social media, marketing or communications
• Familiarity with major social media platforms and scheduling tools
• Good written communication and judgement
• Comfort working in a fast-paced retail environment
• Availability for occasional evening or weekend event support
