Client Services Associate

About the role

Harborlight Logistics is seeking a Client Services Associate for a six-month contract supporting business clients with shipment tracking, delivery exceptions, and service updates. This is a remote role suited to someone who is organized, responsive, and comfortable coordinating with carriers and internal teams. You will serve as a primary point of contact for routine client requests.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor shipment status and respond to client tracking inquiries
• Resolve or escalate delivery exceptions and address changes
• Provide clear updates by email and phone within service targets
• Maintain accurate case notes and client account records
• Coordinate with carriers, warehouses, and internal operations teams
• Identify recurring issues and suggest process improvements

Requirements

• At least one year of customer service, logistics, or operations experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfort using tracking systems, spreadsheets, and shared inboxes
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
